The story of HUM’s newest play Sangat revolves around a happily married couple Ayesha and Adnan who are living in a perfectly happy world of their own where Ayesha’s centre of universe is her husband Adnan, who despite his busy schedule always manages to amaze Ayesha with his surprise romantic gestures.
Despite being perfectly fit to become parents, the couple is still awaiting God’s blessing but their perfect world comes crashing down when Ayesha goes to her mother’s house to spend a night where she is robbed of not only her belongings but her honour as well.
