Screening of Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy‘s Academy Award nominated film “A Girl in the River – The Price of Forgiveness” was held at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, had met with Academy Award winning filmmaker Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy in Islamabad to discuss the issue of honor killing crime in Pakistan in light of Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy’s Academy Award nominated film and her Anti-Honor Killing Campaign, The Price of Forgiveness [#PriceOfForgiveness].
