“Byo´Bu” Collection by Shehla Chatoor at FPW 14

Fashion Pakistan Week , the leading platform for Pakistani fashion designers, kicked off the three-day Fashion Pakistan Week Autumn/Winter 2014 (FPWAW14) on 25th November 2014, at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Karachi.

Day 2 is completely simplified with glitz and spark of skin fitted ensembles. The second day of FPWAW14 featured Shehla Chatoor’s collection “Byo´bu” which is inspired by the art of Japanese painted paper folding screens. Intricately designed trousseau, formal and casual wear in modern cuts ensures you look your finest.

Shehla Chatoor’s FPW Collection featuring crop tops, pants, long skirts with blouses, drapers, maxis, side slit open gowns, sari’s, full length gowns, tweed jackets, embellished gowns and skirts took the stage by storm. The theme of this collection is to make women dresses in hot silhouettes in their most favorite fabrics like stretchable jersey, silk, Chermeuse and velvet designer in unique cuts and attractive color combination.

Flowers & Birds, Landscapes, Tales of Genji are painted on Byobu, a folding screen in Gold, Silver and black Japanese Paper in its smoothest type.  The modish and distinctively designed silhouettes exuded a sense of sensual mysteriousness, ending the show with a bang.

The official choreographer for the event was Hassan Sheheryar Yasin and the official photographer for the event was the wonderful Tapu Javeri and his team, PR for the event was managed by Lahore-based Latitude CRS.
