Chamak at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

Saniya Maskatiya’s collection was all about sketches of her journey across the globe and her love for exploring new cities. The hand-painted prints and embroideries in bright and rustic shades of autumn amalgamate Maskatiya’s love for art and travel.
The silhouettes of Fashion designer Saniya Maskatiya were bold at the Fashion Pakistan Week 2, day 4. A lot of design aspect was enhanced through fabric weaves, hand painting, photo transfers and machine embroideries. Each piece displayed in the collection can be worn as whole or paired with something else. Every woman has her own individual style, ‘Chamak Skies’ gave women the liberty to maintain that personal touch and was chic and trendy at the same time.

Maskatiya has plans to expand her business. Saniya Maskatiya wants her name to gain international recognition and is optimistic that with the Chamak infrastructure in place, she would be able to attract international buyers. For this talented young designer, sky is the limit.
