Kamiar Rokni at Fashion Pakistan Week 2010

The House of Kamiar Rokni presented its debut diffusion line Tia. The label’s latest spring/summer 2010 collection entitled ‘Route’ was an organic extension of its ‘East West North South’ aesthetic which stormed the catwalks in 2010, in its continuance of the fashion house’s global design journey.
For ‘Route’, the focus was on accessible and affordable fabrics with pieces fusing a mixture of cottons, chiffons, denim, karandi, linen and stretch in a versatile range of ready to wear. This Tia collection from the House of Kamiar Rokni was inspired by influences of the East India Company with Chinese and Dutch colonial accents. ‘Route’ featured an array of cool blues, crisp white linens, creams, the quintessentially Raj floral and paisley tradition, an inspiration from Dutch colonial pottery along with delicate hints of the Chinese floral aesthetic.
Expect versatile yet flirty silhouettes with an emphasis on tailoring details and an overall aesthetic landed itself to simplicity and an inherent lack of fuss. Indeed the Tia philosophy focused on the smart and international woman and provided everyday wardrobe solutions to make women feel and look their best, always.
