Nauman Arfeen Collection at Fashion Week Pakistan 2014 Day 2

Fashion Pakistan Week 2014 took place in Karachi on 19th February 2014 till 21st February 2014 in which all the renowned and new designers and brands showcased out with their clothing collections.. In which different designer showcased their latest formal and semi formal collection. Nauman Arfeen offered its artistic prints with repetitive patterns. In this event there were many fashion designers and brands that reveal out with their collections in superb ways.

Nauman Arfeen strutted his Persian art inspired art collection. The collection inspired by Persian art and called Persian Pickles, royal blue; dark brown and maroon were the colors of choice for the men’s line entitled Haute after Dark. 

Celebrating "creativity after monotony", Nauman custom created a weave for this collection and used fabrics such as fur, double knotted raw silk, Irish suede and jamawar – fabrics that are conventionally not juxtaposed together. The result was a collection that stood out for its lavishness and exquisite cuts.

"This time I had to challenge myself, because we are breaking the monotony. I created my own weave and made a collection that is impactful and different, yet very wearable" said Nauman. "I’m so happy that my seniors are here to support me – there’s a shortage of men’s lines and their encouragement means a lot," he added.

This whole meeting was organized under the coordination of Pakistan Fashion Council and HUM Sitaray all together through Toni & Guy, TDAP, Bank Alfalah, daily Nestlé and Nishat linen. This whole event has remained with fashion lovers for three days and is known as one of the most anticipated events in the country fashion.

Nauman Arfeen presented collection using paisleys to tie the collection together, an array of traditional wear including kurtas, sherwanis and shalwaar kameez were shown alongside suits, shirts and pants.
