Ageing, smoking, stress, lack of nutrition, dehydration, and pollution to name a few, are the various factors responsible for wrinkles.
These wrinkles might be premature, caused because your skin might have lost its elasticity and moisture. If you have started noticing those fine lines, it is advised not to go for those injections and harmful treatments, which might work now, but will have the worst effects on your skin later on.
1. Milk powder with honey
Make a paste using 2 tablespoons each of honey, warm water and milk powder, and mix them together, avoiding lumps. Now, apply a layer on your face, and leave it for about 10-12 minutes. Wash it thoroughly and see the difference! Milk powder enriches the skin making it softer and honey gives a glow on your face. Also, there is lactic acid, which lightens the dark skin caused due to pollution or sunburns.
2. Green tea
To detoxify your skin, specialists suggest to drink green tea every day, which has lots of benefits. It gives a wrinkle-free and fresh look to your face and skin. Green tea shrinks your skin pores, pulls out impurities, and gives you that desired radiance.
3. Olive oil
A regular massage with olive oil tones your skin as it is the best source of antioxidants, rich in vitamins A and E. You may also mix it with honey or glycerine, which will help in eliminating the dead cells, thereby, renewing your skin. Olive oil is a great anti-ageing product, thanks to the presence of Vitamin E.
4. Aloe vera
Aloe vera helps in improving the elasticity of your skin as it contains malic acid, which reduces wrinkles. Cut an aloe-vera stem, and extract its gel, apply it evenly on your face, and leave it for 15-20 minutes then wash it off with lukewarm water.
5. Banana paste
Mash up two bananas into a thick paste, and apply it on your face. Leave it for at least half an hour. Wash it thoroughly with lukewarm water, and massage with a conditioning lotion to end it well. Banana has 75% water, which hydrates the skin, prevents dryness, and leads to younger looking skin.
6. Ginger tea
It is a very effective anti-wrinkle remedy as it has high anti-oxidant content. Drink ginger tea twice daily for effective nourishment from within. Ginger has anti-oxidants that remove toxins, increase blood circulation, and make skin appear younger.
7. Rice powder, rose water and milk
Mix rice powder, rose water and milk together until it turns to a thick paste. Apply it evenly on your face, and leave it for 20 minutes. Wash it off with cold water, and massage your face with a skin conditioner. Rice helps in production of collagen, which maintains skin elasticity, milk helps in lightning the darker area of your skin, and rose water enhances your overall appearance.
8. Vitamin-E capsules
Extract the oil out of three vitamin E capsules, add 2 tablespoons yoghurt, half a teaspoon honey, and lemon juice. Mix them well together. Apply the mixture on your face, and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. Vitamin E neutralises free radicals that damage and age the skin.
9. Coconut oil
It is the most effective non-sticky natural moisturiser, which should be used daily for hydrated skin, and to look younger eventually. Just a massage in the morning or at night before going to bed, with lukewarm oil is enough to recollect the nourishment of skin after a tiring day. It is a strong antimicrobic that protects the skin from infections, which sneak their way in through cuts or pores.
10. Turmeric and sugarcane mask
This is amongst the traditional recipes, which have been used since generations for curing wrinkles. Make a paste of sugarcane juice and turmeric, and mix it well avoiding the lumps in paste. Apply it on your face, and leave it for 10-15 minutes. Wash it off with lukewarm water. The alpha-hydroxy acids present in it help in preventing acne, ageing and blemishes.
