Filmmaker Kunal Kohli, who is looking forward to the release of “Teri Meri Kahani“ next week, says he might come up with a sequel to the love story if it becomes a hit.
Teri Meri Kahaani featuring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra is set in three periods – 1910, 1960 and 2012. “With all your love and support if Teri Meri Kahani turns out to be a superhit then we will have four periods in part two of the film,” Kohli said at a promotional event last evening.
Among three eras depicted in Teri Meri Kahani, the first saga unfolds in Lahore in 1910 where Priyanka plays a Punjabi girl Aradhana in love with a Muslim boy Javed, played by Shahid. In the 1960 story, Shahid plays a struggling music director in Mumbai who falls in love with a successful actress. In 2012, they again fall in love as Radha and Krish, this time in England.
The chemistry of Shahid and Priyanka in this film has become the talk of the town after the duo shared the screen space in Kaminey. Teri Meri Kahani is set to release on June 22 and is distributed by IMGC global in Pakistan and PR is handled by Encyclomedia PR.
