Ayesha Khurram to do Exhibitions in Lahore and FaisalabadRenowned designer Ayesha Khurram whose pop-art inspired kurtas and Marilyn Monroe design have catapulted her into popularity is having an exhibition at her M.M Alam Road and DHA outlets and Faisalabad flagship store.

Ayesha Khurram’s collection for this exhibition is based on modern and minimal prêt created from pale chiffons and pastel-colored cottons. The embroideries are vibrant and brightly colored, based on themes of pop art and motifs. The collection also includes embroidered pants! “My Eid exhibition is based on delicate chiffons and embroidered cottons, and is in keeping with my minimal and classy pret.”

There will be three exhibitions in total, two will be held in Lahore and one in Faisalabad. M.M Alam and DHA outlets are the venues for the Lahore exhibition, for Faisalabad it will be her flagship store. Both Lahore and Faisalabad have been great market in the past for Ayesha Khurram.

“I have used a lot of bold, solid colors for this collection with elegant and minimal embroidery on the neck and sleeves,” said the designer, describing her collection which is a compilation of her top sellers over the years. “Besides my pop art, I have also included a few pieces from my poetry collection inspired by Faiz Ahmed Faiz.”
