In a surprise move today, the makers of Chashme Baddoor have released the music of the eagerly anticipated film. Despite Ali Zafar’s latest endeavour being slated for an early April release this year, the makers thought it would be nice to treat the fans to a little something extra beforehand.
This would be Ali Zafar’s fourth film in Bollywood with him playing the lead role yet again. As David Dhavan’s remake of Sai Paranjpe’s 1981 classic, Chashme Buddoor, in which Ali Zafar plays Farooque Shaikh’s character, is already being talked about as a sure hit.
It is common knowledge that the multi-talented Ali Zafar takes on no project lightly, and with hits like London Paris New York and Mere Brother Ki Dulhan already under his belt Chashme Baddoor is one of the most talked about films of the year so far.
Ali says, “When I saw the original Chashme Buddoor, I knew that the plot must retain its authenticity. Also, while it must have been a challenge to render it into modern times and aesthetics, David sir has done a brilliant job. It’s a family entertainer. I think we are all excited about it.”
The launch which took place at Infiniti Mall, Versova, Andheri early in the evening was an open invite to all the fans with an exclusive music clip also uploaded on Ali Zafar’s Facebook page.
