Designer Faraz Manan, Model Zara Peerzada and Shoaib Shafi of CrescentFollowing the announcement of the Crescent – Faraz Manan collection earlier in February, an exclusive event was held at Veranda Bistro in Lahore to launch the collection on the 4th of March 2013.

The launch was attended by fashion, media and social personalities alike including Models Iman Ali, Nooray Bhatti, Zara Peerzada, Iffat Umer, Nadia Malik, Nael Ahmed and Emaad Irfani; stylists Shehzad Raza and Jenny; designers Fahad Hussayn, Munib Nawaz, Mehdi and Erum Alam; Television host Huma Amir Shah and Jewellery designer Shazia Deen.

The Crescent Lawn – Faraz Manan collection for 2013 is inspired from some of the greatest cities of the world. From the princely estates of Hyderabad to the majestic coliseums of ancient Rome, this collection trots around the globe, picking up the best across its travels. The colours of Florence blend in seamlessly with the reverence of the Subcontinent in some pieces, while the vibrancy of Lahore pays homage to the decadence and colour of the East.

It is a reflection of the sub-continental woman who represents harmony between the eclecticism of the West and the culture of the East – captured in their brand ambassador Karisma Kapoor. For this collection, Lawn, Pure Chiffon, Specialized Jacquard Weaves, Chicken Kari, Pure Satin, Customized Digital Prints and Embroidery have all been used to bring out over 15 aesthetically designed prints for the Crescent – Faraz Manan woman. The three piece unstitched outfits are priced at PKR 5,000 to PKR 6,000.

Speaking about his 2013 collaborative collection with Crescent fashion designer Faraz Manan said, “This is a collection for which I am extremely excited. Having enjoyed the tremendous success for both of our collections last year, we’re taken on the challenge of creating an even better line for 2013, combining the best elements and learnings from the previous two collections. I am confident that this will be our biggest collection to date.”
