Bollywood beauty Anushka Sharma has had a dream year so far. She has had a good slate with her experimental production Pari and a bonafide hit with Yash Raj’s Sui Dhaaga alongside Varun Dhawan. Her stellar performances floored critics and audiences alike. In fact, she seems all set to continue the stint and is determined to score a hattrick of hits with Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.
But apparently and unfortunately, it’s never enough. If you haven’t heard a piece of the buzz, ‘insiders’ have been talking constantly and rumours are rife that she is expecting a baby with hubby and cricketer Virat Kohli. But the actress, who recently celebrated her first wedding anniversary, has had enough of the speculations. In a recent interview with The Times of India, she said,”I got married at a young age for a reason. If you are having a baby, it is something that no one can hide. You can still hide a marriage, but not the fact that you are pregnant.”
Not just that, she also commented about the cycle of news that picks up after a wild speculation and spreads like fire. “People can keep speculating (about someone being pregnant), and then after four months when they realise that these stories are false, they will feel silly and say, ‘Let’s go after the other one who got married, let’s talk about her now’! This is done to generate news. There is absolutely no truth to it and it’s not something that’s being planned in the near future,” the actress added. Well, guess that settles it once and for all.
Meanwhile, Anushka will be seen playing the role of a scientist in Zero, whereas Shah Rukh will play the part of a dwarf and Katrina will be his love interest. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, Zero is scheduled to release on December 21, 2018.
