Shruti Haasan and her Italian boyfriend Michael Corsale set the Internet on fire with their cute and funny photos. However, the two have called it quits because the long-distance relationship wasn’t working out in their favour. The Katamarayadu actress and Michael dated for a couple of years and the two celebrated Christmas 2018 and ringed in the New Year 2019 along with friends in the US. When there were strong rumours about their marriage, Michael, took to Twitter today (April 26), to announce that they have parted ways.
He wrote, “Life has just kept us on opposite sides of the globe unfortunately and so we have to walk solo paths it seems. But this young lady will always be my best mate. So grateful to always have her as a friend. Luv ya gal (sic)”

It looks like Shruti and Michael would still be in good terms with Shruti even after their breakup as he called her his ‘best mate’ in the latest post. Shruti’s best friend Sathyalakshmi wished Michael Corsale and wrote, “And you’d always be my best brother lots of love more power to u . God bless u always . Mom sends love to u too (sic)” In a recent interview, the actress hinted at her future plans. She told that marriage is not on her cards. “The ramifications of marriage are different for me and other women. I am not getting married, and I have never been in a hurry to get married. I will enter wedlock whenever I feel like it. Right now, I am not even thinking about it. No relationship determines that you need to get married at a certain time,” she shared. On the work front, Shruti is now busy shooting for director SP Jananathan’s upcoming film with Vijay Sethupathi. Apart from this untitled film, she will also feature in a Bollywood film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
