Aamir Liaquat Hussain is a Pakistani television host and politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. It is Ramadan again and Aamir Liaquat has taken over our social media feeds. This time, the televangelist is hosting PTV’s Ramadan transmission ‘Humara Ramazan’ and has once again made it to the news for being reportedly fired for misbehavior with staff members. Social media has however united against him as Liaquat cracked an ‘inappropriate joke’ live on National TV.
This video from yesterday’s episode of ‘Humara Ramazan’ being deemed unsuitable, especially family and young children watching the transmission.

Earlier in 2017, the Islamabad High Court had banned the anchor from appearing on any Pakistani television channel over accusations of ‘hate speech’. In 2016, he was banned from hosting Ramadan show “Inam Ghar” on Geo Entertainment for three days in which he had unpleasantly re-enacted the suicide of a girl.
Yet again, a social media movement is gearing up to ban the host.
