Lifestyle journalist Nadia Faisal passed away on Tuesday after a long battle with cancer. Nadia Faisal, alias Neini, was a senior journalist associated with the entertainment news industry for several years during which she worked for several television channels, including Geo News for a 13-year span. Her husband, renowned film and music producer Faisal Rafi, confirmed the news of her death.
“Dear friends and colleagues, my wife Nadia Faisal who most of you knew as Nieni passed away today after a long struggle with cancer, will share funeral details soon, please remember her in your thoughts and prayers,” he said in a message on Twitter. Her funeral will be held at Zuhr at Mubarak Masjid at Seaview area of Karachi on Wednesday.
