Rumours of Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor’s impending wedding have been sending the grapevine into a tizzy ever since Kapoor opened up about being in a relationship with Arora earlier in April 2019. While the duo has invariably refuted any concrete plans to seal the deal, Arora has disclosed her vision for her special day. Recently, the 46-year-old let her guard down in the latest episode of Neha Dhupia’s radio show, No Filter Neha.
When prodded about her ideal wedding plans by the host, Arora revealed, “I’m all about the white wedding and always have liked the concept of bridesmaids. They would be my closest girls, my girl gang.” She picked her closest friend, Vahbiz Mehta, as her best woman for the big day. Arora went on to add that her dream wedding destination would be a beach. Owing to her obsession with the colour white, the actor cited that she would love to wear a pristine gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. Given her mother Joyce Polycarp is Malayali Catholic, Arora’s affinity for a white wedding comes as no surprise. Back in 2009, her sister Amrita Arora Ladak also said ‘I do’ to husband Shakeel Ladak in a Christian ceremony.

Whether it’s their public appearances or posting adorable pictures of them holidaying together on social media, this couple has been wearing their fondness for each other on their sleeve for over a year now. On the podcast, she mentioned, “He (Arjun) thinks I do a crappy job of taking his pictures. He clicks better pictures of me, so the pictures I take, fail in comparison.” Speaking of the one thing she’d want to reveal about Kapoor, Arora said, “He is perfect.”
Earlier on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s radio talk show, Arora’s response about finding love after divorce was, “I think all women should jump back into it with equal gusto. Have fun, enjoy it. I think for the first time in your life, you’ll also kind of discover a sense of freedom.”
Sure, there may not be a wedding soon, but by the sound of it, the couple’s big day will surely be a beautiful one.
