Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt are probably two of the most talented divas in Bollywood currently. Over the years, the two have managed to establish a niche for themselves by taking up female-centric films. Speaking of this, in a recent chat, some of Indian cinema’s topmost actors got together for an interview recently and at the same, Deepika accidentally made a shocking statement about Alia getting married. Over a period of time, rumours about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s marriage have been coming in. But, the stars have always kept mum about it.
Recently, in an interview with Film Companion, Vijay Deverakonda was also present with Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana, Manoj Bajpayee and others. At the same, Vijay was quizzed about actors who he would like to take advice from in Indian cinema. While answering the question, Vijay said that he has had a crush on Alia and Deepika for the longest time. But, he mentioned pointing to Deepika that she got married. While he was still speaking, Deepika interrupted at that point and mentioned that Alia is getting married.
Vijay said, “Without shame a lot of people on this table have been massive crushes, like been in love with some of them like these two (pointing to Deepika and Alia). She (Deepika) got married but.” Deepika interjected and said, “She (Alia) is getting married.” Vijay continued and said, “She (Alia) is getting married.” Later, Alia spoke up and said, “Excuse me, why have you made this declaration?” Deepika clarifies and mentions that she just made it all up and laughs it off. A few months back, Alia had laughed off the rumour of her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor.
Well, a while back a strong rumour about Alia and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding came in the news and a fake wedding card also was doing rounds. Fans were confused seeing the fake card doing rounds on social media that stated that Alia and Ranbir were getting married on January 22, 2020. However, later Alia had laughed it off several times and even her mom Soni Razdan mentioned that it was fake. Meanwhile, Alia and Ranbir spent an evening together with the latter’s cousin and family at his birthday celebration and photos of the two are doing rounds on social media.
