There are reports that the release of Bollywood films Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay in Pakistan are facing hiccups and the releases may not take place.
A couple of days back, the cinema operators had expressed glee and felt pleased about the possibility of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil being released with no cuts. There was also no opposition from the Indian Political wing of Maharastra Navnirman Sena (MNS).
Through a tweet a trade analyst of India, informed that as per his information Reliance Entertainment had not agreed to release of Shivaay in Pakistan. On a similar note, it was also informed that Fox Star Studios, the distributors of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had not allowed its showing in Pakistan.
Zoraiz Lashari, Chairman of the Film Exhibitor Association stated that the ban on Bollywood Films is very much there. As against this Sabina Islam, IMGC Media and Marketing Manager claims shared that the ban has only been lifted for "one Bollywood film" and this name has still to be announced.
However, chances are that IMGC will push for release of Fawad’s movie. In this regard, apprehensions have increased because of the Quetta attack.
Both #ADHM and #Shivaay WILL NOT release in Pakistan… Fox Star and Reliance Ent confirmed to me… Should put an end to all speculations.

Another important aspect is that the information from India has come via the tweet. There is no other formal update.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Shivaay won't be released in Pakistan, says film critic Taran Adarsh.
