Asad Anees, the maestros Pianist at Royal Palm

Asad Anees is the proud Pakistani accomplished Pianist, in fact a virtuoso, who at the age of 21 possesses an outstanding technical ability in playing the piano, a universally familiar musical instrument known for its versatility and ubiquity and an essential tool for facilitating compositions.

During his recent visit to Lahore he performed at Royal Palm and laid bare his repertoire which includes works of Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Grieg,  Schumann and Brahms .The maestros performances amazed and bewildered a large gathering at Royal Palm who were first spell bound with Beethoven Sonata which had three movements, grace with its slow introductory theme, adagio with its melodies and Rondo with its melodic pattern identical for its first four notes and rhythmic pattern for first eight. Equally mesmerizing were the compositions of Franz Schubert (1827) and F.Chopin(1849) a composer of French polish parentage and a great master of romantic music.

People who were present, which included the CEO of Royal Palm, Ramzan Shiekh and  Pervaiz Qureshi ,  considered it an awesome occasion with the young Pakistani genius who started playing piano at the age of six and has the honor of being acknowledged at many international forums.

A significant feature of his career is his performance at the Carnegie Hall in New York, being the only Pakistani to have attained this acclaim.
