Calvin Klein’s Pre-Fall Collection

If you’re looking for sophisticatedly simple lines and monochromatic hues in slim coat, riding pants, or chic little dress, then Calvin Klein is the place to go.

Calvin Klein’s fresh collection shown in their Pre-Fall 2009 fahion show focused on tailoring. A great hammered silk trench, a kimono coat with short sleeves, and a trim quilted jacket paired with knit pants narrowing to the ankles (zippers were running up to the backs of the calves). At the end of the show, a pair of silk velvet dresses paneled for a vaguely Art Deco look was shown.

Calvin Klein’s colors for this season are as rich as the cuts and the tailoring. Black and white gowns, and the dark, wooden shades of greens and browns were seen the most.
