Komal Rizvi gave an amazing live performance on the one year anniversary of Pepsi Unplugged by singing her own version of her hit singles like Danneh pe Dannah, Lambi Judai, Washmallay, Lal meri path, and mahi yaar di gharoli.
She also performed a fabulous live rendition of her songs jhoolay lal and Tu Beh gaya and upped her game further by totally nailing the song "Set Fire the Rain" coloring it with a desi flair including the sound of a Dafli.
The crowd loved her Sufi – rock show as many of them jumped off their seats and started to dance to her amazing numbers. And to top it all off, she featured her new duet with the international megastars Josh the Band called “Desaan da raja, Mere Baabul da pyara”.
The revamped an old 1950’s classic to a new and hip, Punjabi track. Komal rewrote its lyrics whilst Qurram from Josh reproduced its music.
The song got an amazing response from the audience and is hoped to be officially recorded and released as the first collaborative single by Josh and Komal soon. We shall keep you updated on its much awaited launch!
The Multi-talented, Komal Rizvi looked fabulous as always as she wore an amazing scarlet red top especially designed for her by Tena Durrani paired with classic chocolate brown leather jeans and her styling was done by Beenish Parvez.
