Mahira Khan shared late on Wednesday that she will be taking a break from social media, as per her tweets.

The world’s grim turnings seem to be taking a toll on Mahira as the Bin Roye actor decided to take a step back just a few hours after social media descended into gloom at the news of actor Irrfan Khan’s death.
“Taking a break from social media, for a little bit. In times such as these (and otherwise) just remember – sabr, shukr and tawakul,” tweeted Mahira. She however did not provide any more details into why she is taking the step or what prompted her.

All signs point to the deteriorating condition around the world and it may be that the starlet just needs a break from all the bad news circulating around social media each day. Just before she decided to take the step, the Superstar actor had shared a tweet in memory of the late Irrfan Khan who passed away early on Wednesday.
“You were and will always remain gold. Rest in greatness and peace. Ameen,” she wrote, sharing a picture after the untimely demise of the revered actor.
In a recent interview with Samina Peerzada, Mahira had hinted that she may be love, but kept the identity under wraps – or did she? When asked by Samina if she would know the person, Mahira replied, “You might but he’s not from the industry,” before adding, “This is one thing I would want to protect with my life. I want to protect my child,” leaving fans confused whether she was actually talking about a man in her life or just her son.
