“My Name Is Khan” earned 250 million, first day

The King Khan’s new block buster, “My Name is Khan” earned Rs 250 million on the very first day of its release, from all over the world. 
Directed by Karan Johar, "My Name is Khan" was released on Friday and is continuously breaking the previous business records, globally. One of the gorgeous actresses of Bollywood, Kajol is performing the leading role along with Shahrukh Khan. Besides all the hurdles and controversies, the movie finally released and is successfully doing business. The Fox Star India, marketed and distributed the film in India and in the US by its sister company Fox Searchlight. In order to grab the international audience, the movie is being released by the parent group 20th Century Fox International, in rest of the world. The film earned about US $ 9,727, from New Zealand, at the opening day. While in the Middle East, the movie has break all the previous business records of Bollywood by earning about US $ 300,000, which is 50 percent higher than any other previous film of Bollywood. Still this movie is in much demand in the Middle East, for additional prints.
The Fox group is further planning to release the movie in Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Oman and Lebanon in near future.
