Actress-model, Nora Fatehi needs no introduction as she has become a household name with her talent. The Canadian diva is a prominent name in the entertainment world, who etched her place in our hearts with her hard work and dedication. Recently, Nora set the stage ablaze at the FIFA World Cup 2022 FanFest, in Qatar, alongside Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, and performed on some of her hit dance numbers.
People are watching Nora’s performance video on a loop, as her out-of-the-world moves are hard to be missed. However, a video shared by an Instagram page, titled Norafatehism, is going viral for a shocking reason. The video from her live performance showed Nora dancing on the stage to her hit song, Saki Saki, the audience couldn’t stop cheering for her. However, in the end, as Nora stopped dancing and gave a pose, we can see a background dancer touching her inappropriately on the stage.
Undoubtedly, Nora’s performance was too glam to be missed, and it left the audience impressed. Clad in a gorgeous shimmery outfit, the diva took away everyone’s breath, thanks to her sizzling dance moves. Nora made India proud, and in one of the videos, she was seen waving the Indian flag, the Tricolour on the stage. Her gesture gave us goosebumps. Well, not just this, while performing, Nora also said:
“India is not a part of the FIFA World Cup… but we are now, in spirit. Through our music, through our dance.”
Coming back to the controversy, a similar incident took place when ace choreographer, Terrence Lewis, was also accused of inappropriately touching Nora Fatehi on camera in the show, India’s Best Dancer. It so happened that Nora Fatehi had graced the show as a guest judge, filling the shoes of Malaika Arora, who was COVID-positive back then.
A video from that episode had gone viral as it showed Terence touching Nora inappropriately while standing on the stage with her. In an interview, Terence opened up about the same and revealed that he didn’t know if his hand really touched Nora. He also shared that he faced a lot of hatred for it and people abused him on social media platforms.
