Trends are not for everyone, but if you want to give your wardrobe a stylish update this fall, here is some advice on which trends to buy and how to make them work for real life. As a rule, I suggest sticking to the Parisian aesthetic – less is always more. To stay on the safe side, pick one trend when putting your outfit together. Doubling up on trends isn’t out of the question, but like mixed drinks, not all pairings are a match made in heaven.
For those of you ready to go out on a limb and try something a little risky, here are some top picks from the runway.
The Printed Pant
This season is all about printed pants and jeans. Christopher Kane did it best with his silk blend moire pant. You can get a similar look with H+M’s floral version. This look is great for dressier occasions, and if they are cropped they look great with a ballet flat or a heel. If you go for the printed jeans, these are great for weekends and every day, worn with flat boots or a ballet flat.
What we thought of as a passing fad has come to establish itself as a major trend. There is no denying that the printed pants trend is far from over. From the runways to the streets, these fabulously fresh pants have claimed their place amongst the hottest trends of the year and like everyone else we too are swooning over these eclectic pants. The graphic-print bottoms are dramatically bold, super versatile and trendy enough to take you from winter well into the spring season. Playful and colorful, these lovely ladies show us how to style these eye catching bottoms:
Ptrousers, jeans, tights, harem or slacks, this is an easy way to spice up your average outfit. No matter your shape, you can work with different size prints and patterns to flatter your physique. For the curvier, fuller figured woman, try a larger print to balance out your proportions like an over-sized floral, allover pattern, or opt for a darker background for a slimming effect. For the petite or more athletic build, mimic that with a smaller print–tightly-spaced or wallpaper prints for example. The idea is to complement the shape of your body and make your outfit stand out, in the right way.
How to Wear a Peplum Top
We want you to learn the basic styling rules and adapt according to your persona from there. Remember to work with complementary proportions in your outfit. Pair fitted bottoms and a slightly more over-sized top, jacket or perhaps peplum, and for relaxed fit trousers opt for a slimmer fit top. A patterned pant with a luxurious knit sweater (major trend alert!) or with a great blouse can do wonders.
Printed pants are big trend in the resort 2013 collections, and this season’s batch is bolder and crazier than ever. From runway to reality printed pants were really seen all over the runway during the Spring 13 in New York Fashion Week. Stay ahead of the Trend and rock the look with claudia e and Level 99.

The busy prints can be a bit overwhelming so when it comes to styling your dazzling bottoms opt for simpler pieces, letting your printed pants do all the leg work for you.
