Shafqat Amanat talks about India and Pakistan relationship

Renowned Pakistani singer in traditional and classical music, Shafqat Amanat Ali feels that music is the only positive connection between India and Pakistan.

Shafaqat is in India these days, performing in Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi and Chandigarh feels proud that he is in India for a noble cause that is to bridge the gap between India and Pakistan. “The relationship between the two countries has worsened due to some people and the only positive connection we have is through music. The fan following of Pakistani singers in India and vice-versa proves my point” said Shafqat.

Shafqat Amanat stepped into Bollywood in 2006 and is now a renowned name in Indain films with tracks like, ‘tere naina’ for ‘My name is Khan’ and ‘Mitwa’ for ‘Khabbi Alvida Na Kehna’. In addition to that, Shafqat is also looking forward to work with Vishal Bhardwaj and AR Rehman.
