A lawsuit has been filed against the most controversial actress of Indo-Pak, Veena Malik for maligning Islamic values in her Ramadan show “Astaghfar” broadcasted on Hero TV.
“I am Veena Malik, and I will be doing with you the whole month of Ramadan, the Astaghfar of mine and yours’ sins…. only on Hero TV”, were the words uttered by Pakistan’s most defamed scandal queen Veena Malik. Many Pakistanis were also shocked after seeing Veena Malik’s teary eyes which probably showed repentance on her sins.
“It was a very great moment for me that people across the globe have appreciated me and they accepted my show. The show has touched the heart of people which is shown by TRP rating,” told Veena Malik. Anyhow, this could not work for viewers as a man from Lahore has filed a lawsuit of PKR 600 million against the raunchy actress. According to him, Veena Malik has disgraced Islamic values through her "Astaghfar" show.
Many famous celebrities are being approached to host religious shows just to increase publicity of the channel and same was intended for Veena Malik. The case has been filed. Let’s wait what happens next.
