Amrapali Jewels celebrated the successful launch of its latest collections through a preview for media and patrons at its flagship store in Gulberg Galleria Mall in Lahore. The brand, which has already been very well received in Pakistan, unveiled two of its new collections; “Aiyna”, a collection of mirror adorned silver tribal jewellery, and “Tales of a Nomad”, a handcrafted collection of silver tribal jewellery.
Both the collections exhibit history and tradition in their tribal patterns and artwork.
Amrapali employs over two thousand artisans with generations of experience in handcrafting jewellery. Their jewellery is worn world over by popular celebrities, aristocrats, and numerous other notable global personalities. The brand is known for giving old world culture a face with its traditional and unique designs. Amrapali is represented exclusively in Pakistan by their distributors, Khazana International, founded and managed by woman entrepreneur Mehreen Amin Khan.
After the success of previous collections including traditional, tribal, jardau, Victorian and contemporary, the company has now launched the “Aiyna” collection comprising of mirror adorned silver tribal jewellery. Most designs are one-of-a-kind and take inspiration from decades past tribal techniques and patterns with a modern aesthetic. The “Tales of a Nomad” collection is their famed handcrafted jewellery and takes inspiration from a well-known story about an ordinary woman leading an extraordinary life. She sold all her valuables to travel the world to connect with people from different cultures and became a nomad. This collection is an ode to all the free-spirited women with wanderlust.
