Pakistan’s premier luxury designer label Elan introduces two Eid capsule collections: Le Rêve in Luxury Prét and Ghazal for their Luxe daywear line, Élan Vital, to commemorate Eid-ul-Adha.
With ‘Le Rêve’, meaning The Dream, Élan has reinvented their aesthetic staples for the upcoming Eid and festive season. ‘Le Rêve’ is inspired by the 1920’s where fashion was all about liberation. Featuring super-glam flappers to the high on trend off shoulders, the collection comprises of art deco motifs, pearl embellishments and belts made in fabrics such as organzas, chiffon, nets and raw silks.
With a color palette which revolves around black, lavender and greys, the collection further features inventive cuts such as diagonal cuts from the center front, boot cuts and culottes.
Élan’s Vital’s collection, Ghazal, is inspired by the bygone Mughal era and features contemporary compositions of sub-continental architecture and motifs. Based in linen, the colour palette depicts the essence of the royal heritage featuring a blend of both dark and light colours.
The Luxe daywear collection is paired with gold and silver tilla embroidery and figurative motifs giving the ensembles an old-world charm that is complemented by the captivating façade of the Bara Dari on the river Ravi.
Elan launched the 2016 edition of its highly anticipated Eid collection.
