The Pakistan Fashion Week started on 24th April and lasts till 26th of April 2014 at Shangrila Hotel Al Nojoum Balroom SZR Dubai opposite DIFC. PFW has promoted the label ‘Made in Pakistan’ and provided an opportunity to Pakistani & UAE Fashion Designers, Textile companies to glass case their tremendous work.
After making its successful debut at PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week, Kayseria, Pakistan’s pioneering designer textile brand launched its Pret a Porter line, “Kayseria Pret”. This time at Dubai Fashion Showcase its Traditional Mughar Era inspired Collection. The PFWD collection offers the season’s most fashionable styles, colours and cuts, truly making it a trend-setters paradise.
In red and orange finishes, the outfits are more traditional than trendy, with gold wire work in the front panels and broad borders at the hemline. Kimono-inspired necklines and fitted kurtas paired chikan pencil pants and sharara’s. The colors used are bright yellow, orange, sea green, candy pink, green, peach and lime knee-length shirts. The printed straight pants and playful sleeves are sure wins. The event is presented by Asian Life Style whereas the exhibitor partner is “Brands Just Pret”. The events were managed by “EIWA Events”.
