Kayseria showcased its Prèt a Porter line, “Kayseria Prèt”, and also its Summer II collection for 2013, “Kayseria’s Summer Journey II” during the Voile show segment of PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week Day 1.
The Kayseria Prèt included three distinct inspirations: folk art “Riwayat”, contemporary evolutions “Kontemporary” and traditional heritage “Virsa”. Each line boasted an individual colour palette. The Virsa Collection had bold cuts with volume sleeves and tapered hemlines and was colored too bright with shades of red, green, blue and yellow. Riwayat Collection included royal shades of emerald green, red and ivory white in kurtas and princess cut long shirts paired with traditional churridar and trousers to reflect the subcontinent umbrella flare. The Kontemporary line had cubical cuts with slim short sleeves in practical black, white and grey tones.
Kayseria Summer Journey II collection was flamboyant and bright having assorted shades. The cuts were playful and fun for audiences, drawing the inspiration from international Neon trend calling the collection “Florescent”.
