Nida Azwer shows off in London at Faisana fashion Weekend. Faisana Fashion Weekend took place on 2nd and 3rd May at Mayfair Hotel, London. It’s the time to showcase the best to the London viewers, the house of Nida Azwer took their critically acclaimed assortment to London’s Mayfair with a showcase on the Faisana model Weekend organized through Aamna & Aisha.
Celebrated designer, Nida Azwer, is among the six fashion houses from across India and Pakistan, to be showcasing her latest collection and interacting with the UK public at Faisana Fashion Weekend. Nida Azwer has been working foe fashion industry since 2005. The designer has great aesthetics and deep design philosophy which she has attained from the prestigious Indus Valley School of Art & Architecture.
Faisana Fashion Weekend , Nida presented her bridal line collection. Nida herself was nominated for the coveted Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent in 2008 and won the Best Designer Award at the Nesvita Women of Strength Awards in 2009.
For this collection, designer Nida Azwer drew came up with artistic decorative designs with rhythmic linear patterns of intertwining lines, embellished work, revealing cuts and other elements. Based in a pure colour palette consisting of whites, golds, ivory and silvers the collection featured the label’s signature cuts with varied hemlines.
Individual creations in this collection have been treated with prints and embroidery, emboss and foil printing, pleating and cutwork creating layers and textures that reflected a contemporary look. Silhouettes were airy and flowy in fabrics such as pure silks, cotton nets, voile, chiffon and organza. Nida Azwer Show off in London at Faisana Fashion Weekend further, and is also nominated for an International Woolmark Prize (IWP) from within the India and heart East Nominees for 2014/15.
