Ramadan is in summer of August this year, no surprise everyone wants to take this Ramadan easy and slow. Spending hours in the kitchen preparing for iftaar doesn’t seem like a pleasant idea this Ramadan. Here are some quick iftaar ideas which won’t involve hours of preparing for iftaar but everyone will love the iftaar menu still.
What is even better about these iftaar recipes is that you can even prepare these the night before after iftaar.
Take boneless chicken, cut into whatever size you want. Mix flour with salt, add in vinegar, baking soda and water until smooth. Put the chicken pieces in the batter and leave in fridge for iftaar the next day. This will make your Ramadan day easier. Before iftaar take your chicken out, it will be well marinated and ready to cook. Dip it in bread crumbs and bake or fry per your taste. Ramadan iftaar was never this easy.
Combine ¼ cup ketchup, sugar, white vinegar with 1 cup water, boil and add 2tbs corn flour to thicken. Then add green pepper and pineapple chunks as many as you want. Stir. Your Ramadan special sauce is all ready to go with your Ramadan special chicken; enjoy your iftaar.
