Just recently, Canadian technology firm, iScent Technologies has made a public announcement about launching an imminent iScent App and accessory for Apple’s popular iPod Touch and other iPhone systems. The device is plugged into the charge slot of the iPhone which then becomes capable of mimicking the scent of more than 1,000 popular fragrances, easily chosen from iPhone application.
According to the company’s spokeperson namely Avril Fische, she revealed that in tests, members of the public had difficulty telling apart a genuine designer fragrance from the scent synthesized from the device. However true aficionado’s may detect some variations.
Though, owing to trademark restrictions, iScent is unable to use the fragrances real names and have assigned alternate names to the fragrances. Fische further stated that in due course of time they shall arrange for licensing agreements with various companies inclduing L’Oreal and Coty.
So, all those who are already using iPhone feel lucky, because your in your a scenty new app. For those of who still don’t have one, now it’s time you do.
