German Jazz Festival is on its way to Lahore to jazz you up with jazzy sensation on May 3 and 4. The event will kick start at National College of Arts.
Organized by the German Cultural Centre, the festival is titled ‘German Jazz 2011’ and aims to give Lahoris two days of pure jazz from Germany. The first day of the event will be academic and literary, bringing a photo exhibition on the history of German Jazz that will last till May 15.
The real fun for Jazz lovers will begin on the second day as musicians from Germany are coming to Lahore to perform live. Jonas Scheon Quartett, a famous Berlin-based German jazz band will be performing live for the first time ever in Lahore at Peeru’s Café.
